The Big Freeze Festival is coming to Narre Warren these School Holidays and I am super excited to visit. The Big Freeze Festival launched last year, and is back this Winter now bigger and better than before! We went last year and it was a really well run day out, full of family fun and snow!

There are twelve zones at the festival this year, and although it won’t open until July 1st, here’s a little sneak peak of what you can expect to see…

Snow Play
Do you want to build a snowman? Have a snowball fight? Make snow angels? New this year your ticket now includes unlimited access to snow play…so come and go as you please (as your child tolerates, haha).
Snow Slide
I can’t wait to try this!!
Snow Forest.
Walk through the forest while it gently snows visiting the festival’s woodland animals.
Winter Village
Explore all the little play shops in the snow village. Missy Moo LOVED this part last year.
Snow Globe
Perfect family photo opportunity, get your pose on inside the giant inflatable snow globe.
Inflatable Slide Races
Who doesn’t love unlimited slide races… I predict we will spend quite a bit of time at this festival zone.
Snowball Toss aka Penguin Bowling!
Can you knock down the penguin? You have unlimited snowballs so give it your best shot!
Do you want to build an igloo?
Construction fun for the little builder in your life.
Kids Obstacle Course
60 metres of ducking and weaving in the Winter themed obstacle course.
Circus Fun
Hosted by YMCA, learn your favourite circus tricks and skills.
Arts and Crafts
Another zone I expect you might find us at… after all, who doesn’t love a bit of crafting.
Live Stage Shows
Interactive shows will be running throughout the festival. A great activity to enjoy while sipping on your hot chocolates!
