Recently my not so tiny baby turned 1! What a milestone to have survived that first year. Those first smiles, tears, cuddles and watching your little squish grow their own personality… it’s bloody wonderful to watch. I’ll be honest too, having a newborn while you have a three year old, well, the baby seems like a walk in the park. What better reason to celebrate!

We knew we wanted to have Baby Boo’s birthday at home and quickly looked into King’s Party Hire to help us pull it off. King’s rent a variety of party packages, from soft play for your tots all the way through to sleepover packages for your tweens.

Above you can see some of the items we hired for my daughter’s party; we decked out our deck! The ball pit was a hit with the under 2s, while the house kept the 3-6 year olds amused for ages!

So why hire?

All the kids were occupied. They weren’t arguing over or breaking our things and had enough play items to go around.
Kings came and set up and packed up, making the whole process super simple
Perfect for 1 year olds! 1 year olds often can’t walk yet so soft play is perfect for them to have something special on their special day; after all isn’t it meant to be a party for them?!

There are preset packages or you can design your own to fit your guests needs and your available space.

Kings really made the party something special for our little girl and for all her friends. It made “entertaining the kids” super easy which meant the parents could actually chat and catch up and know the kids were having a ball… and were safe at the same time.
