Fed Square,
Along the riverside

Pixar themed mini golf has hit Melbourne’s CBD, just in time for the school holidays. This never before seen putt putt course lets you play through all your favourite Pixar movies; both new and old.

You can opt to play 9 or 18 holes, and each 9 have a few fun elements and moving parts throughout.

Some of the holes are super doper easy, and we nailed the par 2s. Others (I’m looking at you Ratatouille) were near impossible to get in the under 6 shot limit (I got 7, hubby 10+). The rain perhaps didn’t help, but hooray for free ponchos!

I was surprised to see not many characters featured within the actually course itself, more just themes of movies. You’d want to be familiar with Pixar to easily pick them all. Don’t worry though, they are all sign posted.

Can you name this movie?

How about this one?

There were all the classics too; lots of Toy Story, Cars, Wall-E and Finding Nemo.

How about prices?

ADULT – 9 HOLES $24.90

CHILD – 9 HOLES $19.90
FAMILY – 9 HOLES $79.60
ADULT – 18 HOLES $39.90
CHILD – 18 HOLES $29.90
FAMILY – 18 HOLES $119.60

Family Tickets can be 2 adults and 2 children, or 1 adult and 3 children. Child Tickets are for children 14 years and under. Children under 3 do not require a ticket.

You can book for a specific time and day or book a flexi ticket. We had a booking but still had to wait a while; I would definitely recommend booking ahead.

We didn’t take the kids but if you think your kids are up for mini golf they’ll have a great time. I’ve tried before with Missy Moo (3yo) and have found she is just too young. But you know your children…. and I know my competitive edge!

There’s some good photos ops with Buzz and Woody as well as in the Pizza Planet car. Both of these can be accessed just by walking by, no need to be mini golfing at all. A great option for little ones who might not be up to par!

Other stuff….
There’s toilets on site but no place to buy water etc. If you visit on a hot day definitely grab a drink elsewhere before you start.

There’s pram parking available, but it would be a little tricky to move your pram around the course….babywear or park it.

Overall we had a blast at Pixar Putt. The course was fun, busy but well controlled, and in the shade! Don’t forget to check out the amazing merchandise after you’re done. Happy putting!
