Dinosaurs have arrived in Melbourne. Guest adventurer Jo went to check out Jurassic Creatures in the St Kilda Triangle to see these prehistoric beasts brought to life! Take it away Jo….
Led by our resident Dinosaur expert, Mr T, we excitedly attended the opening of the Jurassic Creatures Exhibition in St Kilda.
Greeted by large and very detailed animatronic dinosaurs created a very excited atmosphere for the kids (and big kids too!) Throughout the exhibit various dinosaurs were featured being brought to life through simulation – moving (even blinking!) and making dinosaur noises. The carnivores were the favourite amongst our crew even little Miss A was brave enough to get up close and personal.
While the Dinosaurs were the main attraction there were plenty of included activities for all to enjoy – dinosaur ride one, fossil digging, jumping castles, sand art, lightbox drawing, collection of prehistoric insects, fossils and even dinosaur poo!
Along with some carnival games there was also plenty of fun, dinosaur themed merchandise available!
The highlight of our day was meeting Blue the Velociraptor (friendly of course!) interacted with guests and even received a few pats and cuddles.
All in all it was a fun filled family event for all Dinosaur lovers of all ages. Head to https://www.jurassiccreatures.com.au for more information on the exhibition, only open until October 14th.
Thanks Jo, sounds like you had an amazing time! Be sure to check out Jurassic Creatures this school holidays and have an amazing prehistoric adventure!
