What a fun adventure we had today; designing handbags and necklaces! My little three year old and her buddy loved it. Little Designer Club is a new company (established 2017), that let’s kids custom make handbags and necklaces with multiple different options available to really create a unique product.
You can make and purchase online through https://www.littledesignerclub.com/ or during school holiday you might find them in a pop-up shop which is where we found them today. Little Designer Club have popped up in Myer Chadstone and will be there everyday until July 7th.
First off our little girls made their own handbags, my daughter’s doll had a crack too.
All the steps are done online using a tablet, and it was very easy for our tech savvy three year olds to navigate.
After choosing the base colour, the flap, the strap and the bling it took about 5 minutes for the bags to be made up. Easy peasy!
Next up the girls had a go at necklaces. My OCD took a beating on this one as the girls selected each colour and shape of the beads, as well as the colour of the necklace string. Oh, all the non patterns and bad matching. I bit my tongue, haha.
I think I might go back and make one of these for myself, I really liked them!
Handbags cost $39.95 and necklaces are $19.95 but if you buy both together it comes to $49.95.
The quality of the bag and necklace really match the price point; they’re beautiful and will last really well. As a fun bonus you can even go online and buy more accessories for them to mix it up a bit if your child wants some more options.
