We love a good messy play, and last week visited All 4 Mess in Pakenham for the first time. It has recently changed hands, and new owner Deb has mixed it up a bit combining messy play, imaginative play and a jumping castle!

Sessions last for 90 minutes and currently run once a day (but will increase over busy periods such as school holidays). That was plenty of time for my girl to paint and paint and paint some more… her little ceramic things were drying ALL NIGHT, haha.

This particular session was a little more “craft” and a little less “mess” which was fine by us. Apparently slime often makes an appearance but we missed it at our session.

The space was big and not crowded at all, plenty of space for my pram and Baby Boo to nap away…. man I love babies that sleep!

The café is a bit lacking, but Deb said we were welcome to BYO food, so then I didn’t mind at all. She can make you a basic tea or coffee and there are some cookies for sale too…. anything else you want you’ll need to bring it from home.

Once the mess was done there were plenty of places to play. It was nice to sit and have a cuppa while my daughter and my friends daughter ran off and explored. You can easily see everyone from everywhere so no chasing required!

We had a great time, a hot cuppa, and got some talk home art. All in all, a good visit. I’d love to see some more snack offerings in the future but otherwise All 4 Mess is a great place to check out.
