The Wiggles are making their way around Australia; throughout the suburbs and regional areas too….love that! Missy Moo and I couldn’t wait to head to a concert to point our fingers and do the twist!
We saw the concert out at Ringwood on April 3rd at 5pm. It was a sold out show in a relatively small theatre so you could really see The Wiggles up nice and close. Perfect for a toddler!
Here’s a little snippet…
The Wiggles performed at a fast pace with multiple costumes, simple props, and the steady stream of their visiting friends; Captain Feathersword, Dorothy the Dinosaur, Henry the Octopus and Wags the Dog.
What were the good bits?
Everything! But seriously…
Songs.
If your little one knows The Wiggles already they will be well familiar with all the music. It was a nice mix of old and new with a heavy chunk from their new nursery rhyme collection.
Emma.
Bowtiful! Bowtiful! What a joy it was to watch Emma dance! She is graceful and elegant as she wiggles away. Take a look at these moves! Precision…Go Emma! (Bonus points for also liking this photo when I posted it on Instagram… @anydayadventures)

Anthony.
Still rocking on like a champion. He is an awesome drummer and bag pipes with the best of them. His energy is just magic to watch.
Lachy.
Wake up Lachy!! This is Missy Moo’s favourite part! Lachy did a great job singing, dancing, being a sheep and is just such a great all rounder.

Simon.
That man can sing! I think his beautiful operatic voice is probably lost on the youngsters, but wow! A couple of times he really went for it and he just sounds amazing!
Everyone else.
All the friends did a great job, but we really loved Wags. He busted the moves and the kids went wild! All the friends each had a song and 5 minutes or so of stage time. ALso, Wags did the worm….impressive, right?

Other good stuff.
The Wiggles (except Emma) come out into the audience to collect things from the kids. Make the best thing. Hold up a sign that says “Missy Moo loves the Wiggles” and they will likely read it out and use their name. Emma gets lots of things, consider taking something for the guys. Either way, take something so a real Wiggle will come up to your child, take it and say thank you!

Areas for improvement.
To be honest, there isn’t really anything. I was a little sad that there was no Big Red Car song or reference at all. You see we often sing “Toot, Toot, Chugga, Chugga” in the car on our way to adventures…..
Mummy’s in the front seat,
Driving really far.
Missy’s in the back seat
Of our big green car.
Seriously.
But that is it. A perfect concert! I rate it a 10/10 and definitely hope to Wiggle again.
There are concerts on in Melbourne this weekend at The Athenaeum Theatre. You can book them here.
Now I’m off to eat some Fruit Salad…yummy yummy. Hope you get the chance to see the Wiggles with your kids…you’ll have a ball!
